Morocco is warmer than most visitors expect during the day and colder than they expect at night. Almost every packing mistake comes from planning for one and not the other.
The easiest seasons. Warm days, cool evenings. Bring one proper jacket for the evenings and you are set.
Inland is hot, particularly Marrakech and the south. Loose, light, long clothing beats less clothing. A hat is not optional. The Atlantic coast stays noticeably cooler.
Bright days, cold nights, and snow in the High Atlas. If your route includes the mountains or a night in the desert, pack as though for a cold evening at home.
Heavy toiletries and formal clothes. Everything you forget is available in the souks, usually more cheaply, and buying it there is half the fun.
No legal one, but covering shoulders and knees draws less attention outside the resorts and is expected at religious sites. A light scarf is the most useful item you can pack.
On the coast and at hotels, yes. In medinas and smaller towns most travellers are more comfortable in longer clothing.
European two-pin sockets, 220 volts. Bring an adapter if you are coming from the UK or North America.
