International TripsYes, when the week is structured. Ours is based in Broadstairs in Kent, covers six cities including two full days in London, sets levels with a placement test on day two, and is supervised around the clock. From age 10.

A language stay is not a school trip with a bit of English attached, and it is not a holiday with homework. The programme we run in Kent is a week of structured immersion, and it works or fails on how the week is organised.
The base is Broadstairs, a seaside town on the Kent coast — small enough that students are not lost in it, and close enough to reach six cities in a week: London, Margate, Ramsgate, Canterbury and Rochester.
Two of the seven days are full days in London, each built around a theme rather than a list of monuments. That is the difference between a visit and a lesson that happens to be outdoors.
From age 10. The placement test on the second day means a confident twelve-year-old and a hesitant fifteen-year-old are not put in the same room, which is the usual reason these weeks disappoint.
Round the clock, by staff from the Moroccan school, The English Institute and the host British organisation — group leaders, supervisors and activity leaders, with a steering committee over them. For most parents this is the question that decides it.
Places are confirmed at registration and the programme depends on visas being granted, so the final version is fixed once the group and the visa decisions are complete. Payment is split: a deposit at registration and the balance within 72 hours of visa approval.
From age 10. A placement test on the second day sets the working level by ability rather than by age.
Two full days, one themed around Art and one around Science, plus the arrival day which routes through London.
Around the clock, by staff from the Moroccan school, The English Institute and the host British organisation, with group leaders, supervisors and activity leaders.
The programme is confirmed only once the visa decisions and the group are final. The balance is due within 72 hours of visa approval, so it is not paid before you know.
